Who We Are...

The Downtown West Bend Association (DWBA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on preserving and maintaining an economically healthy, historic downtown for West Bend.
 
The DWBA is not a government agency;  it is not funded by tax dollars.  The DWBA is funded solely through hosted events, sponsorships, grants, and donations.

The goal of the DWBA is to support downtown businesses, through marketing efforts, by hosting events year round and by supporting downtown enhancements.  These efforts bring both locals and visitors to downtown, growing the overall economy of the entire community.

Our focus is to provide the community with fun adult and family friendly events that always feature the downtown as a shopping and entertainment district.

The West Bend experience is led by committed business leaders and successful entrepreneurs.

THE DWBA POSITION STATEMENT:​
Downtown West Bend offers residents of West Bend and Washington County, and visitors from near and far, urban activities/events that feature unique shops, dining, and cultural experiences. 
West Bend's downtown is an “All American”, safe, friendly, and fun place.  

THE DWBA VISION STATEMENT:
Downtown is the heart of West Bend. It is the city center that connects both residents and visitors with retail & service businesses, and with cultural, entertainment, and healthy recreational opportunities.
It serves residents who live downtown with employment opportunities, shopping, and dining options without leaving the district. 
​It also serves our thousands of annual visitors by hosting festivals and events that feature culture, music and shopping experiences.
​During the days and well-lit evenings, our downtown is alive with people strolling, shopping, sitting, eating and conversing
--enjoying life on Main Street & along the River Walk.
